An instructional video on how to use sounddesignbids.com is now up and features music by Douglas Kaufman the winner of the $100 original music composition contest.

This instructional video will teach you how to place a sound design job on our job board allowing sound designers to bid for the contract amount by submitting audio for you to listen to and choose from.

Users and job placers can now comment on audio bids from other users

When a new audio bid is placed on a job at sound design bids users can now comment on that bid. I am hoping that this will create an on going conversation until the job is closed and a winner is assigned.
Job placers can use this to constructively provide feedback on the submissions being placed. Hopefully this will improve the quality of the audio and give future bidders more insight on what the job placer is expecting.
Also, bid placers will have an opportunity to provide feedback on their fellow sound designers work.
This should serve as a way to improve everyone’s individual work by allowing the community to share their opinions.

$100 original music competition is underway

The $100 sound design competition is underway. Go to http://www.sounddesignbids.com/listings.php to enter your original music composition. The contest runs until July 31. The winning entry will be featured in an instructional video on how to use sounddesignbids.com, and the composer’s name will also be credited at the end of the video. Your composition will have the potential to reach a wider audience as the video will be posted on youtube.com, facebook and sounddesignbids.com.

Sound design bids will be holding a $100 original music composition competition as soon as the registered users on the site reaches 100 people.

The winning music will be used to promote sound design bids by way of a short instructional video.

This video will be featured on youtube, sounddesignbids, facebook ect. and will credit the winning sound designer at the end of the short video.
